The Home Is Built. The Transformation Is Just Beginning.

Our Past Projects

Follow Cross Creek Landscape Design + Build as a blank-slate North Idaho property becomes a complete outdoor environment designed for gathering, entertaining, and quiet evenings at home.

When the homeowners selected this wooded North Idaho property for their new home, they knew the house would be only the beginning.

Once construction was complete, the area surrounding the home was still bare dirt. Over time, it became what the homeowners jokingly described as

“a monument to Northern Idaho’s natural grasses and noxious weeds.” What looked unfinished, however, also represented an opportunity: a

completely blank slate for designing their ideal landscape and outdoor-living environment.

Completing the Home

The outdoor project began taking shape in their minds while the house was still under construction. They understood that the property would not feel

complete until the hardscape, planting beds, lawn, irrigation, and outdoor-living features complemented the architecture of their new home.

For approximately a year, they considered what the property could become. They admired completed landscapes throughout their neighborhood and

surrounding areas, especially those accompanying recently built homes. Once they were settled inside, they decided it was time to finish what they had

started and create the outdoor lifestyle that originally drew them to Idaho.

Designed for Gathering and Quiet Evenings

Their vision is about more than appearance. They want an outdoor environment that supports how they plan to live.

The completed space will provide a comfortable setting for gatherings with family, friends, and visitors. It will also offer something quieter: a place

where the two of them can relax outside, enjoy the North Idaho weather, and spend peaceful evenings together.

The goal is to create a property that feels equally natural hosting a group of friends or providing a private retreat at the end of the day.

Confidence Before Construction

With a project of this size, the homeowners wanted more than general ideas and verbal descriptions. They wanted detailed technical plans and clear

visualizations that would allow them to understand how the completed property could look and function before construction moved forward.

Walking the property with an experienced team made the difference. Cross Creek Landscape Design + Build helped them consider how the

hardscape, lawn, irrigation, planting areas, and outdoor-kitchen features would work together as one complete environment.

The homeowners were particularly impressed by the expertise, approachability, and communication demonstrated by Randy and everyone involved in

the project. That combination of technical knowledge, practical experience, and personal attention gave them confidence in both the plan and the

quality of the finished result.

Looking Forward

When the project is complete, their first priority is refreshingly simple: bring out the furniture and begin enjoying the space.

They are looking forward to quiet evenings together, gatherings with their Idaho friends, and visits from family members who are already making plans

to spend time with them.

The home has been built. Now the property around it is becoming the place where life will happen.
